This is an episode not to miss!

Laila Pence was on The American Dream with Scott Griffin and shared incredible insights on locating various sources of funding from places you may have never imagined.

She will be introducing Securities Backed Lines of Credit – wait until you learn about this!

Securities Backed Line of Credit (SBLOC) allows clients to use their investment accounts as collateral for a variable or fixed rate line of credit. Proceeds from the credit facility are used for a number of short-term or long-term financing needs but cannot be used to purchase investment vehicles or pay off any margin loan. Keep in mind any recommendation that a client establishes, a SBLOC must be consistent with the client’s financial goals, and the client should fully understand the risks of establishing an SBLOC. These risks include the potential impact of a market downturn, the potential tax implications for liquidating pledged securities, and the potential impact of an increase in interest rates.

2020 Forbes Best In State Wealth Advisors and America’s Top Wealth Advisors – Ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years’ experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receives a fee in exchange for rankings.
